Most commercial Leases contain provisions for the regular review of the rent to ensure that the tenant is paying the reasonable current market rental for a property of that nature. In drafting your new Lease for you we can advise you as to the appropriate rent review provisions which should be incorporated within that Lease to ensure a fair review of the rental for both Landlord and Tenant. At the time that the rent is reviewed we will work closely with your Surveyor who will have knowledge of rental values for comparable buildings and advise on the proper interpretation of the rent review provisions and the recording of the agreed rental.
