Mediation

The Court Rules place a heavy emphasis on Alternative Dispute Resolution. Parties must use their best endeavours to resolve matters without the need of Court hearings. Failure to reject reasonable offers, or refusal to take part in Alternative Dispute Resolution methods, could lead to penalties in a final hearing. There are very few circumstances in which mediation will not be considered suitable.

We have been engaged in mediations of all kinds of different disputes.

Mediation costs are normally shared between the parties but are considerably lower than the costs of running a Court case. They have the added benefit of allowing for outcomes that would not be awarded through a judicial process.
