Beth Woodward

Partner

Background

Beth obtained an English degree at the University of Leeds, travelled for a few years and then studied to become a solicitor at the College of Law in London. She qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and joined Neves in 2003. Beth became a Partner on 8th March 2011.

Beth has been specialising in family and matrimonial law since she qualified as a solicitor sixteen years ago. She can advise in all areas of family law. She has a real understanding of the emotional and financial impact on a family when it breaks down and believes it is her role to try and minimise this trauma for her client.

A sympathetic approach goes some way towards helping. In many cases a conciliatory approach can allow both parties and children to move on as soon as possible. In other cases agreement is not possible and Beth offers a sound and specialised knowledge of family law. Beth is a member of the Family Law Panel. Membership of this panel is restricted to those whose experience and specialist knowledge has been tested by the Law Society. She is also a member of Resolution (an association of over 6,000 solicitors who are committed to promoting a non-confrontational atmosphere in family law). Beth is an accredited collaborative lawyer, leading the Milton Keyes POD of collaborative lawyers as the POD liaision office. Beth is also a member of the Grandparents' Association.
