Background
Gail graduated with an Honours degree in Law from Glasgow University in 1982, and is dual qualified in English Law and Scots Law.
Gail has been a partner in both a Scottish firm, and until lately an Oxford firm. Gail joined Neves in October 2009.
Gail has considerable experience in private client matters, including:
- Preparation of Wills for individuals, married couples and unmarried couples
- Inheritance Tax Planning
- Probate
- Domicile issues in Wills and Tax Planning
- Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax Planning
- Powers of Attorney and Capacity Issues
- Elderly Client Matters including advice with regard to care fees
- Preparation of Trusts
- Administration of Trusts
- Tax Compliance including preparation of tax return forms for individuals, trustees and executors
Outside Interests
Gail’s outside interests include travel (with Australia being her favourite destination), reading and watching football.
