Franchise Agreements

Purchasing a franchise can be a quick and relatively simple way of starting a new business. You will be presented with standard documentation by the franchisor or their solicitors and often no variation will be permitted to this contract. However, this does not mean that you should not take advice. The contract will bind you and affect how you can run and eventually dispose of your business and you should therefore be aware of the rights and obligations that you will have.

The Neves business team can advise you on all of the documentation that you will be asked to sign when entering a new franchise arrangement. We can ensure that you start the new business fully aware of what is required of you and the implications that this may have upon your ability to make a success of your business.

If you have a successful business and you wish to sell franchises, then we can advise you from an early stage as to how to structure the franchise and what documentation will be required including how to protect your business model, name and any intellectual property rights that you may have.

For more information contact a member of the Neves Business Team which consists of Simeon Clipstone, Stewart Matthews, Andrew Orriss, Ian SimpsonJane Joseph, and Haqib Iqbal.
