Eight teams from regional companies competed in a three-hour endurance race to raise funds for this groundbreaking project.
Ann Allen and Sue Bromfield of Extracare, who organised the event, said: "It was an incredibly successful day - both as a fundraising event for the Extracare Appeal, and for the teams involved who had a great day out."
Oakland Properties was the eventual winner, beating off a strong challenge in second from Daimler Chrysler. With Neves taking 4th and 6th places.
Neves are proud to support the work of Extracare. Paula Felton, solicitor in the Wills Trusts and Probate Department said “It is important that as a responsible organisation we take a holistic approach to our clients’ needs. By being involved with charities such as Extracare we can achieve this objective”.
