Gail Donaldson, currently based at our Milton Keynes office was promoted to the position of Head of the Private Client department on 1st July 2011.
Gail is an extremely experienced private client lawyer, but she is also a chartered tax adviser and is dual qualified in Scots law . The partners regard Gail's promotion as a very important step in continuing to provide a quality service to our clients across all our offices; Gail will continue to deliver legal services across the firm whilst supervising staff in the Private Client department.
Gail will initially split her time between the Milton Keynes and Harpenden offices, but will soon work most of the time from Harpenden alongside Fiona Halsey at that office. Viv Hamilton, who joined Neves as a locum solicitor in Harpenden in 2008, will now gradually wind down her time to concentrate on other things, one of which is being a volunteer for the 2012 Olympics. The partners are extremely grateful to Viv who has worked above and beyond the call of a locum solicitor and who has integrated fully into the Harpenden Office during her time with us. We all wish Viv the very best of luck in all that she does and in particular with the Olympics next year.
