It has been over a year now since Lasting Powers of Attorney were introduced to replace Enduring Powers of Attorney. Sadly, the transition has not been as smooth as hoped, as highlighted by a recent article in The Mail on Sunday.
As the article states, the complexity of the forms is not helping, so at Neves we’ve introduced a two tier service to help.
“Do it all for me” – we handle the entire process, preparing the document for you, organising its registration and ironing out any problems with The Public Guardian.
“Help me do it” – to help keep costs down you might prefer to deal direct with The Public Guardian but we will check your documents before you send them to reduce the risk of them being returned and more fees being charged.
