Neves were pleased to participate in the Milton Keynes 5A-side Powerleague Business Cup on the 31st of January.
The event was held at a new complex on the South East side of Milton Keynes with all new rubber crumb surface pitches and a bar with seven plasma screens. The event comprised a tournament with three groups of six all containing businesses from the local Milton Keynes area. Our group consisted of the following teams:
· Mercer & Hole
· Rok
· Alpha Males
· Macintyre Hudson Bed
· The Step
Even though we did not manage to qualify, the matches were very close with Ian Simpson and Brad Paul scoring some excellent goals. The evening was a great success because everyone enjoyed themselves even the supporters on the sideline.
