Joanne Norris, a Trainee Solicitor here at Neves, has recently helped the Watford branch of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association organise a variety of fundraising events, which together have raised nearly £2000 for the charity. These have included their annual Christmas dinner and dance hosted by the Bushey Metropolitan Police Club, a day of bag packing at Marks & Spencer in the Harlequin shopping centre, and a quiz night to celebrate the charity’s 80th anniversary.
Joanne frequently volunteers at local fundraising events for the Watford branch, which is somewhat of a family affair as her mum (who is a guide dog owner herself!) is Trading Secretary and her dad is Treasurer for the branch.
Neves have also supported the recent fundraising events by donating a luxury food hamper for the branch’s raffle. Joanne would like to thank Neves on behalf of the Watford branch of Guide Dogs for the Blind Association for their kind donation.
