James Harvey Attends Admission Ceremony

In January James Harvey was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of England and Wales and to celebrate joining the profession James recently attended an Admissions Ceremony. The Admissions Ceremony is an opportunity for newly qualified solicitors to thank their families for the help and support they have given on the long road to qualification as well as to be formally presented with their Practice Certificate.

The Admissions Ceremony was held at the Law Society Building on Chancery Lane in London, where the Law Society has been based for more than 150 years. The ceremony began by the Master of Ceremonies inviting James, the other solicitors and their guests to the Common Room of the Law Society’s Hall followed by a speech from Linda Lee, the Deputy Vice President of the Law Society. James was then introduced to the stage by the Master of Ceremonies where he was congratulated on his achievement by Linda Lee and presented with his Practicing Certificate.

The day also provided for an opportunity to explore the historic Law Society building and guests were given the privilege of being allowed entry to the famous law library which is not usually open to the public.
