British Heart Foundation Santa Jog - Willen Lake, Milton Keynes - 02/12/07

Michelle Coulter of Neves Solicitors joined in with 250 other people dressed as Santa to raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation. Michelle ran with her team of 5 members calling themselves "The Stocking Fillers".

Adults dressed head to toe in Santa suits, beard and hats provided by the BHF looked just the part as children came along in festive fancy dress to add to the yule tide feel.

Driving rain and gale force winds did not deter the hardy souls as they took on the 4km route around Willen Lake. Runners, walkers, families and teams alike came together on what turned out to be a fun and exciting day, despite the arctic conditions.

Every year, thousands of people die prematurely from heart disease. It remains the UK's single biggest killer and for the increasing number who survive, life can be frightening and hard.

The British Heart Foundation is the nation's heart charity. Every day they save lives, through pioneering research, providing vital information to help people reduce their own heart health risks, campaigning for change and supporting and caring for heart patients.

So far this event has raised over £6,000 and the BHF hope to raise approximately over £10,000.
